I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Lawrence University. I teach and research in several areas including: work and employment, international development, sociology of food and research methods. My research incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. My research focuses on how country level and household level factors relate to food insecurity in a multilevel framework. I strive for teaching excellence through continued engagement with the scholarship of teaching and learning. In order to facilitate deeper learning, I incorporate student-centered learning into my courses.
